Realtor, Prudential Carruthers Realtors, Salisbury. Former insurance agent. Former owner/operator, Benchmark Financial Services. Former owner, Sidetrack Restaurant, Newton. Past chair, Legislative Committee, Maryland Municipal League. Member, Wicomico Quarter-Century Commission; Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, 2011. Charter member/Director, Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club. Member, Elks Lodge no. 817, Salisbury; Moose Lodge no. 654, Salisbury; Optimist Club of Salisbury. Past chair, Salisbury Festival. Past board member/Executive Director, The Wellness Community - Delmarva. Past board member, American Cancer Society. Member, Trinity United Methodist Church, Salisbury. Married; two children, six grandchildren. Died in Salisbury, Maryland, October 11, 2011.
