BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

The Board of License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Somerset County (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-112).

In Somerset County, the Board's three members are appointed by the Governor with Senate consent to two-year terms (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-101).

LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD

The Liquor Control Board establishes and maintains stores known as County liquor dispensaries for the sale of sparkling or fortified wine and other alcoholic beverages in sealed packages or containers (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-203).

Appointed by the Governor, the Board consists of three members who serve four-year terms (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-201).
