Interim County Executive, Howard County, October 22 to December 1986. Member, Personnel Board, Howard County.

Born in Elkridge, Maryland May 31, 1926. Served in U.S. Navy, 1943-46. Emory and Henry College; University of South Carolina, B.S. (naval sciences), 1945. Employed with Seagrim Distillers, Relay, Maryland, 1947-54; National Brewing Company (later Carling National Breweries), 1954-74. Member, Elkridge Heritage Society; Optimist Club. Member, Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Ellicot City. Married; six children, seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Died in Columbia, Maryland, October 2, 2012.
