Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1981. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (citizenship & law-related education program for the schools of Maryland, 1987; special committee on lawyer professional conduct, 1993-96); District of Columbia Bar Association; Prince George's County Bar Association (nominating committee, 1987-88; legislative committee, 1988-89, 1992-93; co-chair, no-fault committee, 1991; bench & bar committee, 1996-97; co-chair, tort law committee, 1997-2001).
