Report to Senate Education, Health & Environmental Affairs Committee & House Ways & Means Committee due Dec. 31, 2011 (Chapter 360, Acts of 2011).


In June 2011, the Task Force on Funding a Green Technology, Life Science, and Health Information Technology Loan-Assistance Repayment Program was authorized (Chapter 360, Acts of 2011).

The Task Force studied and made recommendations on how to fund a loan-assistance repayment program for federal and State higher education loans which specifically would benefit graduates who earn a degree in fields relating to green technology, life science, and health information technology.

Authorization for the Task Force was extended through January 31, 2012.
