Interim Director, Governor's Office of Children, 2007-08. Deputy Legal Counsel, Office of Governor, 2007-11. Member, Mortgage Settlement Funds Work Group, 2012.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Attended Friends School of Baltimore; Dartmouth College, B.A. (history), 1993; Yale Law School, J.D., 1998. Law clerk to Judge James Robertson, U.S. Distrct Court for the District of Columbia, 1998-99. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1998; District of Columbia Bar, 2000. Teacher, 5th and 6th grades, New York City Public School System (through Teach for America), 1993-95. Board of Directors, Baltimore Outreach Services, 2011-.
